I made this card to participate in and celebrate Colour Inkspiration's 200th challenge. I love this challenge group and was anxious to play along! The team challenged us to pick one of your favorite colors and make a card using only that color. I was having a difficult time trying to decide which color to choose. I browsed through my instagram profile and based on my older cards I found that I use a lot of pinks or blues. I settled on pink. I used retired Blushing Bride simply because this leopard print DSP is one of my all time favorite prints and I was itching to showcase it again. I also had some Blushing Bride glimmer paper which goes nicely. The white Snowy Delight snowflake is cut from velvet paper. In person this looks and feels very 50's glam, with the velvet, sparkle, sequins, gems, and soft pink. The beautiful sentiment is from the Snow is Glistening set.

Filled with Joy Tag ~ HSS477, SSC374, IB363
Hello friends! Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments #477. This time we have a photo board with plenty of cheerful Christmas inspiration! I was inspired by the greenery, the cardinal, and the snowflake on the ornament. I used the Sunday Stamps sketch this week for further inspiration, as well! I've been looking for an opportunity to use my new Patterned Tag dies. I think my card also fits in nicely with the Inspired By napkins challenge #363.
I used a large mix of old and new stuff on this card. The new products are the Silent Snowfall and Need for Tweed DSP, Patterned Tag dies, and Delicate Pines die (large Mossy Meadow leaf). The retired products include Joy dies, Snowfall Thinlits (the berry branch), Blizzard Thinlit (snowflake), Peace & Joy stamp set (holly leaves), and Sophisticated Sled stamp set (sentiment & cardinal)
The snowflake it sprinkled with chunky Ice Glitter and all the other greenery has swipes of Wink of Stella. I love Christmas cards that shimmer and shine!

Special Sunflower Thanks ~ HSS476
Hello! Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments new sketch challenge #476.
I was commissioned to make some special thank you cards that featured sunflowers. The colors are based on a flower bouquet that featured pink flowers with the sunflowers. This sketch worked perfectly with the sunflowers from the retired set Celebrate Sunflowers.
I added in some pink die cut flowers from the current Charming Day dies.

Snowy Joy & Delights ~ HSS475
Hello Stampers! Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge for October. Our challenge colors are Cherry Cobbler, Pool Party, and Secret Sea. When I made my card, I was thinking the challenge red was Real Red, so that's what I used. I didn't realize I was wrong until I came here to post. Oops! Oh well, It's very close.

Colour Inkspiration Guest Designer ~ CI198
Hello! Today's card is for Colour Inkspiration Challenge #198 and I have the privilege of being a guest designer. The colors we were challenged to used are Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, Real Red, and Very Vanilla. I added in some Gray Granite as a neutral.
I was drawn to use the new set Delicate Pines to showcase these colors. The focal "flower" is one of the pine branch snowflake stamps from the set. I embossed two images in white EP on vanilla and dabbed on some Real Red Ink to enhance the center of the "flower" and layered them over the top of each other to create it. The vanilla die cut leaves (Delicate Pines) are splattered with black ink and some are brushed with Real Red, and the Pool Party pine boughs are brushed with a little Pool Party ink. The foliage with the heart shaped leaves are from the Golden Greenery die set and are cut from Coastal Cabana dsp. Some of the Greenery and the tips of the flower, as well as the holly berries have some ice glitter sprinkled on them.
The Very Vanilla background was stamped with Elements of Text script and Pool Party snowflakes from Snowy Delights. I splattered some black ink and blended Gray Granite ink around the edges.
I finished off the card with a Christmas Labels sentiment stamped in Real Red.

Ink Blend Background Just For You ~ CI197, JAI771
Hello stampers! Today's card is for Colour Inkspiration color challenge #197. I did a bunch of ink blending on this one for an interesting background. I really do love the look of ink blending and I also love to brush extra ink on my diecuts for more dimension. I have substituted Secret Sea for the Night of Navy color on my card. This card uses a mix of dies from last years Changing Leaves set and this years Label Me Grateful. I think they work together nicely. Because of these two sets, I'm playing along with Just Add Ink #771 and I chose Plants and Pretties. My leaves are the plants and the flowers and bling are the pretties!
I also used some stamps from Elements of Text set. The scripty words and splatter stamps make the background more interesting, I think.

Fall Flower Congrats ~ HSS474
Hello! Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge #474. I was inspired by the colors of the pumpkins. I needed another wedding card, so that's the direction I went with these colors. I like that this can feel like fall without all the fall-type leaves and such.
My card uses the Charming Day stamp set and dies. I also used the "branch-y" die from the Changing Leaves set. I went with a combination of embossing folders for the background, opting to use a different one for each of the layers. The vanilla layer is embossed with Garden and Glass. The Peach Pie layer is Distressed Tile. I brushed some Cajun Craze ink over the Distressed Tile to bring out the embossing. The main image flowers were colored with Cajun Craze and light Pumpkin Pie Blends. The leaves were colored with Mossy Meadow Blends. After it was all colored, I used my blending brush and brushed on some in to dull the brightness of the white after die-cutting. I arranged different leaf and branch die cuts. The lighter leaves are cut from Soft Seafoam CS and brushed with Mossy Meadow ink. I also cut some Mossy Meadow CS leaves, which I also brush with the same ink. The Cajun Craze foliage was cut from Very Vanilla CS and brushed with Cajun Craze ink. I added a large Gold Twisted Twine bow underneath everything before I started placing and gluing my main image pieces.
The sentiment is from Charming Sentiments stamp set and die bundle. I layered on a torn peice of Peach Pie double sided CS mounted on Cajun Craze CS. I also added a little strip on Gold Foil CS to the bottom to tie into all the gold accents. Speaking of gold accents, I thought the gold Heart Sequins would be a good finishing element to this lovely wedding card. After all, a wedding is all about love!
